Help samsung galaxy s auto rotation

Hi can anywhoe tell me if I can have my Samsung Galaxy s on Auto rotation on my home page (if my phone is landscape the icons are landscape too - not portrait?
When I have my phone in the car it is in landscape so I can see the phone numbers easier, but when sideways, the icons etc are still in portrait mode.
