Samsung Galaxy S user a with Cracked Digitizer

Hi there,

I dropped my phone and the digitizer cracked (the front glass on the screen looks fine). Now I can hear that my Samsung boots and it rings when someone calls me but the screen is always blank. only when i look closely against direct light that I can see cracks behind the glass. So I cant do anything besides turn it on and off. Please let me know if any of you (with a similar scenario) manage to get your information off the phone and if and how you fixed your screen.
