Saving text messages on my Samsung Android

I want to make sure that some text messages on my phone are not deleted. How do I do that?

Hi uarehome, welcome to AF!

One solution would be to use a backup app and save a copy of your backup files on your PC (or Mac if you go that way). You could see if your phone has a save option, long press on a text and a dialogue box should open with options. If not download Handcent from the market, it has save options as does Google Voice.
