Smart Phone novice need info on M8

Just downloaded the Sat Nav App ''M8'' on to my first Smart Phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. Although i'm keen to use it now, i have realized that i only have a monthly data allowance of 500Mb on my 3G after which i think it becomes very expensive. I would like to know if somebody could please tell me roughly how much data is being used while the App is running. After trying it, It looks like a wonderful replacement for the Tom Tom but whilst i seem to use that for free, i don't want to unwittingly incur some ridiculous charges for data.

Apps like 3G Watchdog, or Onavo data count should tell you how much data the app uses.

Try a short test, 10 minutes or so, then use either of those apps to see roughly how much data the app uses.

Thank's very much, i have downloaded 3G Watchdog as you suggested and both App's are brilliant in my view. Using 3G Watchdog has proved that ''M8'' uses very little data. Much appreciated.
