I've been switching back and forth between my droid and eris(i've given up on the pre and i've decided to take the POS back)
When using my eris,
my friend(who has verizon) sent me a text message...
you know that if you are a vzw customer you can only send texts with a 160 characters in them(unless you have a special app) to non-vzw customers
but you can send 7 pages of text to vzw customer
well he text me a 2 page text(320 characters)
and you know how it says preceeding objects were modified or something along the lines of this
well i went to go read page 1 of the text
and it has these weird symbols that I can't recreate in this thread
so i took a picture as best i could

Has this happened to someone and how can i fix it?
I can't do a factory reset because apps that i have in my phone, i can't find anymore due to them no longer showing after the latest app
