Stopped by the Sprint store today because I've been having some issues with my phone since the software update. Specifically, I've been losing data connection at random times, screen will turn on and off repeatedly on its own, and phone will not dial out and/or will not hang up a call. I have to either reboot my phone or pull the battery out to fix it and I'm having to do this more and more.
Sprint rep said they'd look at it and see what's going on. An hour later I come back and the answer I get is, "That's a known issue with all Android phones right now, but Android 2.1 is coming out in a month or two and that should fix the problem."
So...you're telling me that I have to deal with this problem for another month or two?? And even then, it's not a for sure date.
I have to say that I am slightly frustrated with that response. Is this a build quality/software issue with Samsung or Google? Has anyone else experienced these issues?
