Uhoh... sounds like HTC might launch this phone elsewhere as the Supersonic. And if they do, its going to create a forum-naming problem. Should we send this phone back to the SUPERSONIC name and create a NEW forum for EVOS?

It'll be easier to patch up the problem now rather than waiting... but this could cause a Back2TheFuture-like time paradox problem that implodes the galaxy.

if you do a name change put the name SPRINT in there so there is NO confusion

    ie "SPRINT HTC Evo 4G"

For serious. If this were on VZW I wouldn't even have to think about it. This is the first phone to launch since I got my Droid that I'm jealous of.

Looks like it's official, I'll be staying with my old carrier till this summer (unless of course the N1 comes out before that). Can't wait to get my first Android Phone... *sigh*

Not quite sure why this whole name issue is happening but now we got a new name!
    "HTC Hero 4g"

Sprint Unfolds HTC Hero 4G At CTIA Wireless 2010

...Obviously the author isn't very smart lol

But seriously. HDMI out? That is one of the coolest things I have ever heard on a phone, well... besides WiMAX and that up to 8 wireless devices can connect, or 4G, or 4.3" screen.... Thank God I am on T-mobiles no contract plan.

I am stoked needless to say.
