Root Superuser Elite and no option to update su?

OK, I have Superuser.apk from rooting, and superuser elite from having rooted more than a few devices. For a while now I've been able to verify the version of the su binary and update it via elite, but on the Infinity (using the Infinity root, as the other method did not work) Elite does not even have the option to verify the su binary version, much less update it.

Does the Infinity root method use something different? SuperSu?

I figured it out - sort of. The placement of items on the tablet version of Superuser is different from the placement on my phone. Hence my confusion.
