Root Talk-to-type question

Get a sharpie and draw one on it.My keyboard used to have the little microphone just left of the space bar but has disappeared. Anybody know how I might get it back? TYA

Go to menu/settings/language & keyboards then I think go to keyboard settings and I believe you can choose what is on the keyboard such as the microphone or arrows etc.

Nope. That doesn't work - there's no option for talk-to-text that I could find....
So, I went to the Play store and picked up the ICS keyboard. It has the option so maybe I've found a work-around...

wonder why the mic. disappeared?!?
I use go keyboard myself.
