Root TBH email

Did anyone else get an email from TeamBlackHat via Google with a download link? I downloaded the apk to my computer, but I'm hesitant to install it; shouldn't the app update on its own? Or is this a whole new, different app?

I should add that when I tried downloading it to my phone, after it finished it went from a normal file name to <unknown> and I couldn't find it in my download folder. Hence my hesitation.

TBH App February orders have been sent an email, this is only a redownload link not an updated application.

I believe they are emailing out the link for everyone since it got pulled from the market.

I received the email. I have not installed or gone to that link for the same reason.

I have. I can confirm you get the TBH app. Nothing special. The app was pulled from the market and this is how TBH will be supporting their products.

This is genuine. You can trust it. TBH is no longer available through Android Market. They are now sending out the link to download it from their site. Hold onto your userid and password, for future use in case you lose the apk.

I haven't gotten my email yet. I bought the app last month I believe. Maybe in the next day or so.
