A cab to my house would cost a fortune no matter were you are
No public transit and no taxis where I live.
A (25/30 min) taxi to mine from town would be about $35/40 (EUR 25/30)... not bad if I've got friends down and we've all been out, but a bit hard to swallow when it's just me/me n the wife!
I do want to see "The Hobbit" and will at some point before it leaves theaters. I hadn't seen "Skyfall" so that was Saturday afternoon's activity. So much better than "Quantum of Solace"!
Just back and I have to say it was really good. Everything you would want in a prequel to Tue lord of the rings. Now to wait and see the next ones
No spoilers as promised
Beijing... Buses 1 RMB, that's about 10p GBP, anywhere in the city. Subway 2 RMB, about 20p GBP, anywhere in the city.
Xilinhot... Bus-fare is same as Beijing. Taxis 5 RMB, about 50p GBP, anywhere in the city, although it's a small city.
I've never actually seen any of the Lord of the Rings movies in their entirety. I've got them in English and Mandarin, student gave them to me last year, just never got around to watching them.
Looking forward to seeing the hobbit.
I'm trying to play a game but it keeps lagging on the Note. Should I clear the memory, you think?
I think it would be best to clear the cache, as really no games should lag on your device
how do I do that?
Another forum I'm a longtime member of is in deep talks on the recent tragedy. I feel very strongly against guns but Americans view it differently, I guess
Our bus prices are quite reasonable. Metro bus is $1.60 wherever you go. We have another "private" bus called the Circulator. Far more limited stops and there's only a handful of routes, but it's only $1. I love it when we're going to certain places.
The Metro (subway) though, is stupid expensive. Fares are all over the place, and there's maybe 4 different times of day when it goes up and goes down. Very confusing.
Also, when my wife worked for this big corporation and took it to work they offer "Smart Benefits". Essentially it's pre-tax money set aside for them to use on the Metro. Big complicated system, but I guess it needs to be since we have the 2nd most used subway system in the country (after NYC).
Settings - Apps - (click on the game) - Clear Cache
It doesn't give me that option.
That's probably the most awesome thing I'm going to hear today.
Woops, looks like it's a "public-private" bus service (according to Wiki):
DC Circulator - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Baltimore also has a Circulator but theirs is free.
Free or not, "The Circulator" sounds awesome. It's like a Wrestlers special move or something.
Hey you just past 17K, EP!
Wow, I didn't notice, cheers Dread.
Hmmm, does it allow you to clear data? I wouldn't go that way if you don't want to lose your settings though.
Which game is it?
Don't see it in the Play Store.
Can you post a screen shot within the App Settings I mentioned?
it was part of the Humble Bundle 4 for Android
Well, i did see the clear cache, but it's 0.00 B in cache for the game
Afternoon all. Congrats on the 17k EP.
