Where can I say these words to Android Team?:

    1. App should be chosen to install whether to phone or SD like in Symbian.

    2. Wifi proxy should be configured manually.

    3. Music player's EQ should be manually configured with sound quality boost.

    #1 - Android 2.2 Froyo
    #2 - Proxy Settings....maybe?
#3 - The player on the Galaxy S line does this, but there are plenty of third party players on the market. Mixzing might allow for this.

    Overall - Google Mobile Help

    Hi All ,

I am new to the android world. However I have read that Android 2.2 onwards allows user to select the location (phone memory vs card) for installation.

I am planning to buy a Sony Eric xperia X8.

Please guide me if I would be able to upgrade it to Android 2.2 at a later stage ? Can I expect some hassels ? Can I be sure that the update would be available for the same ? It currently comes with Android 1.6

If you want to stay even remotely up to date with Android versions, don't buy Sony Ericsson. Never ever.

Via Google's site for such suggestions. I don't have the URL off the top of my head but a Google search will turn it up for you.

How do you deal with access to apps and data when the SD card isn't available (mounted to PC or during startup)? That seems to be commonly overlooked with people suggesting this idea.

You don't have to use the stock apps.

This really should be in its own thread. Threadjacking just isn't polite. ;)

Agreed. I don't understand why SE is doing this. They are just killing themselves.
