Txt msging syncing to tablet

I have a android phone and a android tablet is there a app that would allow me to get my text messages and mms messages on my tablet?
I don't want an app that would just forward them to the tablet, but more or less allows syncing, so when I'm done txting I don't have to clear a bunch of answered txts on my phone.

I used PopMyPhone to forward my SMS and MMS messages to my email which I monitor on my tablet. I don't think there is any sync that would delete them on both devices.

You could use Google Voice but that would require handing out a new phone number for everyone to message you on.
