*FIXED* but *Un-tested* VM SGS3 Stock Modem (Odin Flashable)


Okay Guys... I messed around in adb for a while and fianlly found which partition block to pull in order to "Rip" my stock VM modem.bin :D Then... I made it into a Tar archive that Odin will like....
And...
You should be able to Flash it and fix problem associated with Odin Flashed Sprint RUU's...

I love the pioneers. Thats why i like checking out the VM forum when im on an International.. all the ground work had been done for my device by the time i started messing with it so its good to see it in action here :)

Ever seen a documentary about Nile Crocodile when the Wildebeest have to migrate across the river, theyre all standin at the bank sayin "you go".. "no YOU go first" moo moo then one brave lil dude jumps in and the herd follow :)
Its beautiful... pity the first lil dude usually gets bit straight on the nose and spun around like a rag-doll lol

yeah but if this fails i dont want to be eaten by a crocodile haha. and plus im a noob so i got a question. would the radio help with the sms not sending or is that because of the root?

Different modem/radio firmware will make your signal and data speeds better, worse or the same but this thread is for peeps who have flashed the wrong one on their phone and want the right one back. If you havent changed yours, you dont need this one :)
 
Has anyone tested this in Odin ? I tryed with mobile Odin an got can't find partition in file !
Will this happen on the PC ? Guess I'll find out later !

I did accidently put in a sprint stock rom but my data still worked so I believe I wont need this I think haha. I then restored a backup to vm
 
I activated it through the phone. I've rooted it trying to fix it. It was doing it before that. I've tried a factory reset (before rooting) updatibg the prl and pulling the battery for 2 hrs. Nothing worked.
 
Never mind my last post, I think I found the way to flash sprint ROMs and get back to working stock.
