For a long time when using a keyboard, a notification saying "select input method" notification is displayed. Lately I notice it is no longer present on my phone (Nexus 6 running 6.0.1, rooted).
I want the notification back (so I can use it for tasker profile to disable triple tap magnification gesture when keyboard is active)
I don't know whether:
A - it was removed from Android
or
B - I removed it myself (don't remember how/when/where but it's possible I just forgot).
Question A - For others using Android 6.0.1 (preferably on Nexus), does that "select input method" still display for you when using keyboard?
Question B - Any idea how I might have removed it? **
Questiont C - Any idea how to get it back?
** More on question B

- I've checked settings/sound & notification / app notiifcations / blocked and the only apps blocked are dropbox, nbc and twilight app.
- I checked Franco kernel (which I have installed) FKupdater app, no relatled settings are included.
- xposed modules I have enabled (I don't think they play any role):
- app settings - no keyboard or system apps are configured
- gravity box -
- "hide IME switcher" is unchecked under nav bar tweaks
- I don't have any apps configured under "ultimate notification control"
- swype tweaks - no related settings apparent
- boot manager - seems irrelevant
