If your familiar with CWR I'd give Gr5 from here a go: 19 Aug Gr5 XXKH3: MoDaCo Custom ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S II (stock-style/vanilla) with Online Kitchen - Android @ MoDaCo It's fast,stable and looks good. There's several flavours prebaked(FOC).

Another vote for the MoDaCo ROM from me. I've been using Paul's ROMs on and off since I first rooted my Hero almost three years ago and he knows what he's doing.

Is there an equivalent of revolution kitchen for first galaxy s,? looked at it in market but its only for gs2, looks very easy to customize

I know I said I had a couple of favourites but when I stopped customizing I realized the battery was actually bad on Revolution and it wasn't from over use. So Villain all the way.

I've used there so far:

- CM7
- SensatioN 2 - smooth, stable, nice theme, no OC, TW4.5, no overscroll glow - recommended
- Batista - smooth, stable, OC daemon or use SetCPU, theme hasn't been good since 3.7.2 (you can flash that theme over the current 3.7.6)
- Cognition
- Check's - looking forward to trying their 2.5/3 release. their current 2.0 version is promising.
- DlevROM - probably going to stick with this one for a while. nice theme, smooth, stable. i flashed TW4.5 and the version 1.1 battery.. works and looks much better this way.
