Root will rooting my LG ally void my insurance?

    i have an LG ally that i want to root but i want to know if it will void my insurance that i pay extra for?

    well than that sucks.. but could i unroot it if i need to use my insurance

    Thats the good part, yes you can un-root in case something happens, and viola your insurance/warranty is back.

    ya but i don't think you can unroot if you brick your phone. Someone correct me if I am wrong

    Actually it voids the warranty. not insurance. Asurion could care less what happens to the device.

    Indeed Death.

    Insurance and warranty are two completely different things. Rooting does nothing with insurance, it voids warranty.

    ok then how the hell do i root an LG ally 2.2.1 i have tried so many ways and they have all failed?

    z4root, androot, superoneclick, universal root and thats it but the only one to work was z4root but i left it on all night and i didnt root it was still loading.

    Superoneclick should work. Did you do temporary root or regular root

    check the links i posted. you WILL be able to root your phone like that and the people on irc we be there to help you with whatever so long as you are patient and respectful. the guides are fool proof and have been refined, automated and simplified and were made by the same people who have built our ROMS and those are the some of the same people you will find in the ally irc

    well i keep doing the software update but i keeps saying
    OnStepMsg STEP_TYPE_ENV_ERROR delete m_pLGCyonUpdate

    Use the LGNPST Guide. Thats why it's there. LGMU errors out almost all the time now.
