Let's see your "Incredible" layout (Pun intended)

Lockbot free app: Is there anyway to configure the clock on the lockscreen to use the 12 hour clock instead of 24 hours?

Yes...open MY THEMES and select the one you want to edit. Also, at this point, you should delete any that you do not want. Mine started with about 7 and they rotate through each time you lock the phone. I went down to just 1.

Select the 1 you want and press 'edit'. Press Menu and clock. Select 'digital' and 'clock'. Click on the actual clock and, at the bottom, go to time format. Use the drop down box to get the format that you want.

Done and done!

I completely redesigned my layout tonight. I felt that I was letting all these awesome widgets interfere with actual usefulness. I'm going to try this over the weekend and see if I like it better. It's definitely more boring to look at, but I think it would be better in the long run....or not and I'll just start over again.

I've been debating on whether to do this with my messenger. Do you have any issues with having the two widgets? And do you have only gmail on the second one or do you have multiple accts (hotmail, yahoo and google, for example)?

The mini calendar is pure calendar widger 4x1. Here's my setup so far:

lock screen: Lockbot Pro
main home: Beautiful Home Smaller, pure calendar 4x1, vlingo widget, beautiful home toggle widgets
home 2: bunch of icons, advanced task manager free "kill all" widget (opera and steel are gone now [no pinch to zoom, argh], still deciding between dolphin, skyfire, and stock)
home 3: PDANet widget, stock mobile network & airplane toggle, batterylife widget, audiomanager pro widget, pure music widget 4x1
home 4: still figuring out what to put here...right now its fun to press the screen during music playing and watch the white particles appear :)
home 5: 2 pure messenger widgets on top of handcent & gmail
home 6: pure music 4x4
home 7: HTC stock calendar agenda view (nice for scrolling thru calendar..can't do this on pure calendar [can you...?])

wallpaper is nexus one revamped free

the red bars are for signifying that its on my google calendar.

keep the cool ideas comin', i basically got my set-up from you guys!! thanks!

What skin are you using for your audio manager?

I cannot find it.

Thanks!

Lock Bot /pro :)

I thought that might be it, but the reviews/feedback for that app are not all that great. Sounds to be pretty buggy...is that true? Curious what others think.

I'm looking for a better unlock screen so I don't have so many pocket answers to incoming calls. I can't screen anything anymore...phone is answered by the time I get it out of my pocket.

Hey Midnight

I bought lockbot pro. It's nice there is a ton of customization in it if that's your kind of thing. Yes it works well. There are a few bugs, but not deal breakers. One bug is the "option to prevent vol rocker and optical joystick" from waking up the phone. It does not work. When checked these buttons can still wake the phone up. That is probably a con for some it doesn't bother me. There is an option to add a passcode once unlocked.....like a second lock. Try lockbot free if you don't like you can uninstall. If you want more customization and 2 additional "lock skins" (flan and X10) you can go for the pro version.

@ asterdroid....looking good mate!

Okay so here's my layout. I decided to shrink down to 5 screens, since between the GDE application trays, and the custom folders/shortcuts with appmanager, I really didn't need 7.

I also included a 6th screen shot of the cube effect from GDE just because I think it looks sweet.

For the audio manager skin I'm using you need the pro version. It is just one of the four skins included with it.as for the sms and email widgets, I've had no problems with either, and I like the fact that I can use two, one for email and one for text...even tho, what's the big difference nowadays, lol. I only use g mail right now as I'm trying to consolidate my others into one account, but I may end up adding my brighthouse email, ill let you know if I have any problems.

---I have AM Pro and I don't have that widget. I like the dark background with the silver. Metallic is just silver and silver. :-(

Thanks.

Do you know of a small calender widget that can display 2-3 events.

Try CalWidget by egg 'n stone's 2X2 widget. It almost always shows 4-5 items, which for me is normally a day or two. If you find yourself needing more space, this widget lets you omit specific calenders, or only show certain ones, and gives you a nice array of transparency and color controls. In addition, it comes in like, a dozen sizes (slight exaggeration). And the kicker? It's free. I've tried several and that's the one I keep going back to. Here's a link to its AppBrain page:

CalWidget - Android app on AppBrain

I'd show you it in operation, but I'm still making a few last tweaks before I post my screenshots. Oh the indecision!
