    Help damn message icon

    I just had my droid warranty swapped and I reinstalled handcent, but I can't stop native message notification, I unchecked auto-retrieve and notification is the settings but it keeps notifying me. Wtf?? What am I forgetting? Its driving me crazy.

    does a full SD card slow down the phone?

    Would having alot of stuff on my storage card cause the phone itself to slow down? I try keeping my programs on the phone reduced but it still runs slow and it is rooted and has a custom ROM. Can't figure it out

    I got this second messaging icon that appears in the top left when I get a text. Its relentless and can only be cleared by dropping down the notification window and clicking on 'clear'. It looks like a small envelope but not very good graphically. I originally thought it was default app...

    setting up groups

    how do I set up a group to be used in a text message scenario? I tried adding people to organization and that wasn't it. I don't see any options to do so in the contacts properties, I do have 2 groups I just don't recall how they got there
