Actually that software was good as a starting point.
But it does NOT update all fields.
It does NOT work WITH outlook it just IMPORTS from Outlook!!
CompanionLink synced once then doesn't work properly.
Still on the lookout.
Dave, don't wanna say you don't know what you are talking about but for people with 1500 contacts with almost all fields full none of the above does it yet.
I really thing that android apps with windows mobile synchronisation of outllok on one phone would be the best.
So far I got the android working and like it but my contacts are not synced yet!!!
NOT ALL OF THEM!!
Well, MPE DOES work both ways. If your's doesn't then you must have a problem somewhere. For instance, MPE does have options to sync just in one direction. Check out the MPE forums at ... FJ Software :: Forum anzeigen - English section ... the developer, and users, is responsive to queries. A 'search' first might well reveal just what you problem is.
As for not syncing all contact fields, at least some of this problem is that Outlook and Android don't have the same number or type of fields thus making the problem a little difficult. I can't remember offhand what the differences are but there's a thread from a couple of months back on Android Forums where someone had done the work to figure this out. I must admit that it works fine for me, and I have a fair few contacts with name/address(s)/phone(s)/emails/urls/company + assorted other fields. So far I haven't found anything that doesn't go across but obviously you have. I know there was also a similar thread on the MPE forums recently so check that out and see what their conclusions were. I only say to do this because, not having the problem myself, I only glanced at it out of interest, rather than with an issue to solve, so can't remember all the details.
HTH.
