Re-download the zip and try again. I installed it without a hitch.

did you try to flash over 4.0.6 without wiping? I did a full wipe to be safe and everything went smoothly. 6 minutes total from skateboards to setup.

Although I normally do wipe between installs, since I had just loaded 4.0.6 today and spent a couple of hours setting it up exactly like I wanted, I decided to flash 4.0.6.1 without wiping, although I did do a NAND backup just in case. Installation went smoothly and quickly and it is working great. So, I agree with the suggestion above, re-download the zip and reflash it.

I just flashed over 4.0.6 with no issues.

This happened to me as well when I flashed XTRRom because I didn't "safely disconnect" the usb drive. It must have corrupted the zip file.
