Root Help with Wireless Tether!!!

downloaded the app but it wont run without a certain kernel. What do I need to do to get it to run I really need your help with this one!

I have had 0 problems using barnacle wifi tether from the market. You have to be rooted for it to work.

I have barinacle wifi but I am looking to tether through bluetooth.

As of this posting, there are no released custom kernels for the LG Ally. Barnacle Wifi is your only option for wireless tethering.

Actually as of yesterday there is a kernel with wifi tether support which I posted there.

The kernel hasn't been publicly released yet, and until froyo comes out, I'm not sure if integrated-style tethering will work. I'm not sure, though.

I would PM a link to the kernel or a working ROM to you, but I feel that doing so would be a violation of the creator's wishes. I feel bad enough snagging it (not really ). Give it a while, and I'm sure that it'll be publicly released soon.

Tether kernel is out but android-wifi-tether needs an update. I sent issue 559 to google code bit if you guys have anything to add to the code change request please enlighten the kind devs of the android-wifi-tether team.
