Anyone with hong kong bought desire have froyo?

i bought my desire from HK 1 week ago and now i dont have wifi access. I am just curious to learn if HK desires have froyo update available

HTC said it'll initially be rollout to European Desires, so you may have to wait a little while before it's available.

Best way to find out is to check it yourself though once you have WiFi access.

I have an HTC Desire from HK as well. No luck yet. No updates yet.

I'm in Singapore and my HTC Desire (bought in HK) tells me that it is up-to-date.

I'll be in HK tonight and will check again.

Worst case scenario, I'll install a European Official ROM ...

Hello, I bought mine on ebay from a guy who said that he had 9 available in melbourne. I paid the additional 100 dollars he was asking because I figured it would arrive a lot sooner as I live in melbourne. It arrived postmarked from hong kong many days later. Thanks for the hundred dollar rip-off eclipse_mint! Anyway, in answer to your question, it would appear I have a hong kong sourced desire too, and it hasn't updated yet though i try every day.

I got my Desire from HK a couple months back and no froyo yet. Because the speaker died and I have to get it fixed, I prob will wait for froyo to be released in HK before upgrading, in case something else died and I have to send it back.

I have the desire for 3 months now (live in HK) still no updates available... Chinese forums mentioned that Taiwan just got their update so HK is coming soon.....

Nothing wrong, just means whatever app you're trying to move can't be saved to SD. Not all of them can.
