Accessories New battery from htc

HTC gave me steps to do a charge and so far it has worked wonders for me

Charge the battery while the phone is on to 100%
Disconnect the cord and turn your phone off
While the phone is off charge the phone till the light is green (100%).
Take out cord and turn phone on, then turn phone off.
Charge it one more time till it is green, then turn phone on.

I charged my phone doing this yesterday at 4:30pm. I got up this morning and my phone was only down to 70%!!!!. This was with using the web and tweetdeck and texting last night.

Charged my phone this morning to 100% at 7am. Now at 3:01pm I am down to 61% left. Before these steps I would be down to 25%.

I hope this helps others.

That will last for a few days, then it's back to the normal ways. I've reset my phone after doing that a few times, all the same. I tend not to look at it dropping that immediate 10% anymore. My 3000 mah battery does the same, but lasts hours longer than my stock OEM battery. People look at battery meters too much.
