I'm a bit of a numpty and really don't want to break my beloved Nellie Nexus, so please will someone give me fool proof, numpty instructions on how to upgrade my card to a 16GB card? I've just received it in the post and I'm terrified of buggering something up!

Many thanks in advance.

Mount your N1 to your computer and copy everything on the card to the computer where you can find it easily (like a new folder on your desktop). Then safely unmount the connection (USB and N1 phone). You can then remove the existing SD card from your phone and replace it with the new one, which may or may not require formatting once you restart the N1. After you have your N1 restarted, remount it to the computer, locate the previously saved SD card data and copy it all back to your new card. Safely unmount the card/phone again and you should be good to go.

Before I start, can you tell me how I format it if I need to? Thanks.

Go to settings>SD Card & Phone Storage. If the card is formatted, it will most likely be already mounted. If it is not mounted you will have the option to format. If you want to wipe an existing card, first BACK UP THE FILES, then unmount and format.
