I got my ad ready to go last night, going to post it Sunday after I get the Inspire in my hands.

At this time, we are not able to sell the HTC Inspire till its official launch date: Sunday, February 13th.

Noah Kravitz of TechnoBuffalo pushes his review of the HTC Inspire 4G!!! One of the few things that I don't agree with about this review is something he didn't even say. At the end, he put up a caption that said "AT&t's Best Android Phone until Atrix 4G Ships". That is wrong, sir.

Ugh...Noah and his tech reviews frustrate me. His gripes are about OS, like sound settings is stupid. All the way back to the G1, this is pretty much the standard way of doing things.

I'm still having a tough time deciding btw the Inspire and Atrix. I know both have its pro & cons, so on my day off on Monday, I'm going into AT&T and 'test-drive' the Inspire to see what I think of it. Can't buy a phone until the Feb. 20th so I still have a little time to decide which one is right for me.

The bloggers who bash android have been doing it from day one. I realized that was not going to change when I read an all out slaughter of the OS at the hands of Boy Genius. The opinion of bloggers like him (and apparently noah) don't phase me in the slightest.

On the bright side, Jon Rettinger is supposed to be getting HIS hands on the Inspire. Jon is pretty fond of Android, so we will see a good review out of him!

Lol well to be honest, its true. Android compared to the iPhone is complicated if you don't know it. Once you get to use it, you'll understand "Noah" that most notifications and sounds are application specific.

If you own an Android device or are used to them (which you would think Noah is by now) then it should be no problem and reviewers will rave good things about it.


If you own an Iphone, and is not used to android or do not have much experience with it, it can come off as a challenge.

Here's my take, for what it's worth.

First the obvious: iOS and Android are two _different_ mobile operating systems.

Just because they are both phones, people make a lot of assumptions. They compare them, and since the iPhone is so widely used with so many out in the hands of customers, people who have never used Android immediately notice some of the differences and then criticize the Android phone.

Next is the fact that our society emphasizes the negative, and sells negative news. Therefore people are so quick to be negative, they miss the goodness that is Android.

If they were less lazy and willing to learn something new, they would find that Android is a much better OS. Why? Because Android is built from the ground up as a true multi-tasking operating mobile operating system.

To make my point very simple. An iPhone is a phone that also has some features of a computer. An Android phone is a computer that has a phone included in the device. The only true multi-tasking device is Android. The only device with proper file management is Android. I could go on and on but I'm sure that most of you already know this.

As an iPhone user, what attracts me to android is the ability to download files and do what I want with the phone, not what apple wants. When I had a mytough4g, the first time I downloaded an mp3 from audiko.net and made it a ringbone on the phone, I was absolutely amazed.

Man, this guy really rips the battery. Says he didn't get thru the day once in 5 days with moderate use. That sucks.

If the battery is anything like my Aria, it will take 2 weeks of usage to go from "awful" to "decent".

I don't know if we can put much stock into these reviews if they've only been using it for a few days.
