Hello Everyone.
I just got started with Droid on a Casio Commando coming from a BB. I use K-9 Mail to access my Pop 3 work email. When i get an email and i open it and want to reply to it the email is adressed to send back to me and not from the original email address. I was told that in the menu option there is a reply but i have none. there is no foward either. I can add CC or BCC but nothing to reply. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? Do i have a bad download or something? I really am beginning to miss my BB because of this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand what you're seeing, but this is my phone:

The menu button is the button on the far left on the bottom of the phone.

When I hit that button when I have an email open in K-9, I see:

Reply
Reply all
Forward
Mark as unread
Delete
More

That said, I hit the menu button, and press on the screen for "reply" and I'm good to go. Are you not seeing this? Have you checked if there's a K-9 update available?

When i open email and hit the menu button i have compose, sort by, select all, folder list, check mail , more (which has accounts, Mark all messages as read, settings and expunge).

When i Have an email open and hit menu i have send, add cc/bcc, add attachment, save as draft, discard, more (which has, send as, add attachment (image), add attachment(video)

There is nothing like what you have that has reply, reply to all, forward, mark as unread. it was downloaded on 8/21/11 and to be honest i am not sure how to see if any updates are available. When i hit menu I expected to see what you see but I don't and that is what is causing my confussion and frustrations.

Just checked on my K9 and if those are the items you see while pressing menu, you're already in reply mode; the ones JaSauders said are the ones you get while reading a mail.

why would it go directly to reply when i only opened the email? then i don't have a choice on whether i forward it or reply to all.

ALSO,,, The biggest problem is that it puts my email address in the to: box and not the email address of the sender. THAT IS MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH K-9. Can anyone explain it?
