Ending calls on Galaxy S2

I've found that at the end of the call, if the person at the other end of the phone ends the call, my phone always carries on as if I'm still in the call even though I'm not and I have to press end call as well to stop it. It works fine if I'm the one who ends the call first but if the other person ends it then this happens. Has anybody else found this/does anybody know how to fix it? Thanks

I have noticed a little delay when other person hangs up before the phone recognises this and goes to "call ended, also because it's takes a moment for the screen to turn back on after it goes away from your face. My solution to this was settings, call, call answering/ending, and select 'The power key ends calls' so that call is not going longer than I intended it. So now the call if over before the screen comes back on, because I end them all the time!

Hey, thanks, I understand what you're saying and I've seen the setting with the power key. It's not a little delay or the screen that's the problem though, it just won't hang up at all.

For example, the other day I rang myself on between my Galaxy S2 and a landline, then I hung up using the landline and didn't press anything on my Galaxy S2. A few minutes later, my Galaxy S2 was telling me I was still in the call and I have a feeling it would stay like that forever unless I pressed end call. It's just annoying me a bit because say if someone hangs up on me, I won't even know because my phone will hang onto the call. It seems like it's only my phone being like this, I might bring it into a Vodafone store at some point and get it looked at.

If you call a landline A from landline B, and then hang up landline B the call will still be active. Pick up landline B and you will still be connected, but if you hang up landline A the call will terminate. This is a "feature" that has been around for years.

My Galaxy S2 wont reactivate the screen when I go to end a call. I have had the happen a few times and he last few days. I make a call, get put through to voice mail and I cant stop the call because the screen wont reactivate and I cant even activate it with the on/off button. The phones re-activates the screen about 3-5 minutes after the call has ended. If the other person hangs up, I can hear my phone disconnecting but cant activate the screen.

Any ideas?

Absolutely correct - unless the networks right through support clear down signalling. More are coming onboard with it this year.
