everytime i click something it loads 30 sec or so
i want my old market back

I know I'm going to regret this jaily :D

Do this to get the old Market back...

Go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Market when you open Market there should be a button that says... "Uninstall updates".. press it.

You may need to reboot your phone after this to get your old Market back.

Hope this helps. :D

I updated to 3.1.3 a while back via .apk file and I was getting errors trying to update any app.
I tried clearing data but the problem persisted.
So I reverted back to the previous version using the steps already described.
I then had version 2.x of the Market (ie. the version that came with the firmware)
This version stayed on there until I decided to try and update it again.
What version of firmware are you on? I'm not sure if the latest builds come pre-installed with version 3.
If you get an "unistall update" button, then it would have come with version 2, so you should be able to go back to this without a problem

i believe i said that back in post #4, did u think i was lying to u?

That's uncalled for and ungrateful. It's already been explained that previously uninstalled updates did not automatically reinstall themselves, hence hawker's confusion.

if u don't know wut's going on plz don't bother

Again, an uncalled-for comment.

now i know why i have to post so much to get an answer

Let's get something crystal clear, Jaliy. Nobody here owes you an answer, especially when much of the advice that has been offered was either ignored or questioned. This is a free-to-access user-to-user forum, not a 24/7 support service. Members visit and post in their own time, for no reward other than the feelgood factor of helping others. Please remember that.

i'm not saying i'm not grateful for the answers i got
but i spend 1 hour repeating myself for the fact that was there but nobody cared to actually try it out themselves
all i wanted was a confirmation from anyone who took 30 sec to try it on their phone

if they don't want to help, that is fine
but plz don't give wrong advice
that will just make things worse

I think it is pretty obvious that both Ironass and Hawker wanted to help, but that their previously-accurate advice had been superceded thanks to a change by Google. That was unfortunate, but you can hardly expect users to double-check something that they've previously experienced. However I'm pretty sure that most will now think twice before offering advice in future.
