Hello all, new Android user here
I've recently converted over from the iPhone 4 to a Samsung Galaxy S2, in fact as recent as last Thursday. My phone was great over the weekend until Sunday night it started misbehaving. I returned to the unit to find it stuck on the boot screen. The only way I could get it to come back to life was a five minutes battery pull.
Steadily throughout Monday it got worse to the stage it wouldn't switch on at all. I've taken it back and got a replacement (under a 14 day satisfaction period from OK in the UK). Today I found my replacement had switched itself off. It has turned on ok and is still behaving.
All I have done (to both phones) is fit a 16GB MicroSD card, connect to my WiFi and download a few basic apps. I have however bought a CaseMate case that simply clips on and covers the back to protect from scratches.
I've taken it off my new one but found myself wondering if I am indeed the Jinx of mobile smart phones or the case is perhaps causing overheating issues.
Has anyone experience anything similar?
