Lol...I'm trying to be light hearted!

But seriously ....Motorola what is up with the Vibrate mode in your phones lately?

I thought the Bionic was bad, the Razr is terrible in vibrate mode...even using the soft keys is bad!

It really feels like the phone has a cold when the phone vibrates.

Yea sorry to rant, but I like to have my phone on Vibrate when I'm working, or just happen to be at my desk with my phone up there. With the Razr in Vibrate its like its sick and trying to say something but can't...lol...

agreed. the vibrate ain't bad when the phone is sitting on a table or hard surface (though it could be better), but when it's in your pocket, it's pretty worthless.

Just an FYI...

Had both my BBC Bold and Razr on the table...set them both to vibrate! The Bold you could hear vibrating from across the room. The Razr couldn't be heard while standing right next to it!

Both phones are equally as thin. Not good Motorola!

Wow... pretty clueless there...

Vibration is not designed to be heard, it's designed to be felt. See the iPhone 4's vibration unit.

Seems like everybody just follow's Apple's lead.

anyone else notice the vibrate is very weak on the razr, or is it just mine?

Using the Multitouch Keyboard, the vibrate on keypress is super light, and hardly noticeable unless I am plugged in and charging.. I installed another keyboard, and there is a setting to adjust "Vibration Intensity", but I don't like the newly installed keyboard as much as the larger Droid pre-installed Multitouch. I mean.. why in the #$%$ isn't there a setting to adjust the vibration intensity in the Keyboard settings menu?? Wow.. I might take this phone back because of this.

Sounds petty, but phones of this level of trim should be more "polished", IMHO

this actually kind of annoyed me too (except i use swype and i didn't consider returning the phone over it), but now i just turned the "vibrate on keypress" off - since it was so weak to begin with - to help conserve battery. i'll live. and i still love this phone :)

I think the vibration on the multi touch keyboard is perfect. On my incredible it was too much. I like the subtle vibration.

I agree, but that's all it's good for, I'm constantly missing calls and texts......I just noticed that it's perfect when plugged in the the wall charger.

I wonder if this is something that could be fixed with software?
