Help x2 Screen Issue

Ok so yesterday my x2 decided that it was gonna go crazy. The screen keeps rolling like a old tv with bad reception, and it looks as if everything i had on my sd card is now gone. I have done a factory reset after think that it would fix it but it hasn't. My phone has no water damage or has it ever been dropped. I have only had it for like a month and a half. Is there something that i am missing that i can fix it, or should i just go get a replacement from verizon? Also the phone has never been rooted.

Ouch, crazy indeed. First time I've heard of that problem. Take it back.

I'd be suspicious of any new apps/widgets installed and/or changed in configuration, especially autosyncing apps such as Facebook, Gmail, etc.

I'd go into all of those apps in application manager and remove them after clearing data and cache on each. A lot of trouble, but could be well worth it.

- Clear data and cache on all apps/widgets.

- Uninstall all 3rd party apps/widgets.

- Shut down the device.

- Go into recovery menu and clear/wipe cache: hold volume down at the same time as power button, wait for "fastboot" to appear in small letters above the Motorola logo, release both buttons then hit the volume down button several times as it scrolls through the menu options until it lands on "android recovery," then select that by hitting volume up once and wait for the triangle and little green robot to appear on the screen, then press both volume up and down at the same time once, then use volume down to highlight "wipe cache partition," then use the power button to activate that.

- Highlight "reboot system now" and press the power button.

If you still have issues after that go back into the recovery menu and run the factory data reset. You can also invoke that reset in the privacy menu, but you may not be able to get to it if the glitches are still there, so you always have the recovery menu after shut down. ;)

Good luck!

i tried everything yall guys said thanks for the help. In the end it didn't work i took it to the guy at verizon and he freaked out and ran about the office telling everyone to see this crazy phone lol. They are sending me a replacement.

Happy ending (in a way ;)) but my Laugh Of The Day, visualizing the Verizon floor monkey "freaking out and running about the office telling everyone to see this crazy phone." :D
