Will do. My goal is 30 minutes, hopefully the adrenaline of an actual race vs. training will get me there, I have run 2.5 miles on a 30 minute 5k pace, but not the actual 5k.

I'm sure you'll do it with no problem. I'm a biker, not a runner, but I know how much better I perform on a sponsored ride than when I'm training. The adrenaline and camaraderie really does boost your performance.

SO just a reminder, the Galaxy Nexus is up for voting at laptopmag.com. It is currently against the Nokia Lumia 710, and is rightfully spanking it. However there are a LOT of WP7 fanboys on this site (it is a laptop site after all), and except for against the GNex, the WP7 phones have won every contest they have been in. Tomorrow is the final, and if today's results hold, will be GNex vs. Lumia 900. Make sure you go and vote on as many machines as you can! (Phone, Tab, PC, laptop, etc.)

I use ex Dialer, which does T9 dialing (start pushing numbers or using the letters, and it'll find all matching contacts), then dial from the selected list. Many, many other features as well. I used to use Dialer One, but I do like ex Dialer better. I can't believe they did away with T9 dialing on our Nexus!



I use Beautiful Widgets for my home screen and weather. However, I have it bring up WeatherBug for details (you set that in 'settings' for BeautifulWidgets...default is Accuweather) - radar in real time/video, weather cams, forecasts, etc. Excellent program. I don't personally care for Accuweather.

I do the same, weatherbug is better for radar and very accurate.

Yeah, accuweather is not real highly regarded on the hurricane blogs I follow. They like to call it inaccuweather.

Antimony, have you tried Hurricane Hound? I use it and Hurricane Tracker, both have been pretty good on our Nexies.

So some semi bad news. The guy next to me got a Rezound. And he has solid 4G full time at his desk. So disappointing to me. I kind of knew that was probably the case, but without knowing for sure, I was able to continue on in ignorance. Considering I have an upgrade on one of my lines coming in June, this morning was the first chink in the armor of me not caring about new phones...
