Google now offering a AT&T 3G compatible Nexus One!

If I switch to this from the iPhone exactly what happens? I assume I place my iPhone's SIM into the N1. What happens to the plan I currently have? Thanks much!
pop in the SIM and use the phone as you normally do. at&t sees a different imei number and that's about it. you're already paying $30/monthly for data so that won't change. i've been using unsubsidized phones on at&t for the last 4 years (because at&t has a limited selection) and haven't had any problem.

You might also have to call AT&T and have them change your data plan since on T-mobile I had to change my data plan to an "android data plan" to get it to work even though I changed from a G1 which they said had its own data plan.

Bought a G1 on the day it was released, and then a Nexus 1 on the day it was released. I have not had to change anything on my data plan.
