who will be the last to get ICS

I just spoke to verizon and they told me that I officially will be the last person on the planet with a razr on gingerbread. They suggested that I donate my razr to the Smithsonian. :)
They also said it will feel like an eternity before I get ics, so far I think they're correct :)

Now I know you're lying cause I spoke to Verizon and they told me that I officially will be the last person on the planet with a razr on gingerbread. :p

Did the OP in that ever provide a link to what Verizon said, or did just claim that Verizon said this? (I find the "depending on your location" bit highly suspect).

Agree....that said....I read a tweet from VZW support this morning. It was in reply to someone asking about the update and they said the following:

"Great News @_JessicaJacobs! ICS is being sent to all Razr users within the next 3-4 weeks for installation. Thanks for your patience. ^TH"

3-4 WEEKS?!?!?!?!?! I tweeted them and asked about it and never got a reply. Will let you know if I do.

@Dawn******** I can clarify! ICS was released 6/22/12 for the Razr and delivery may take 3-4 weeks from launch. Thank you. ^TB

My goodness. You guys and your pathetic cities.....Now I feel bad for you for living there. Who cares if your phone doesn't have ICS. You don't have CHIPOTLE? Are you still watching movies at drive ins?

Buffalo...ugghhhh. Duluth is great in the summer. SW Missouri? Isn't that where they shot the movie "Deliverance"?

If you lived in one of these types of cities, the last of your concerns should be ICS. :D

True. The biggest problem here at the moment is that it rains seals.

I'm about time go that route too. The only question I have is when you watch the video and his phone is booting, it shows a fist with the middle finger. Do you get this after the install and if so won't this void the warranty?

no it's just a gag....you won't see that and some things will be different cuz he already has ICS installed...the things that got me was"Device is locked" which is normal....and make sure you have all the files saved to the right places or you will keep getting a "reading device" message

Nothing here in NYC. I did notice a big lag time though when getting the "System Up To Date" message back yesterday. It's back to 1 second today though.

Im in NYC myself and all I get is "Checking for updates..Please Wait" but the blue circle doesnt stop spinning and the checking never ends. Last time I had an update it was instant so I'm sure it's just not here yet. I will be the last and I want a prize! :D

My Razr locked up this afternoon while I was logged onto WiFi. I got all excited, figuring that the update locked it momentarily... Nope... Just an Android snafu. I forced a reboot and still await ICS. I will def wait for the update OTA though, as that billion step process to manually do it looked daunting. That and I really don't hate Gingerbread. It will happen when it happens... I will keep checking daily though, just in case.
