What I did was I flashed B08, let the phone boot up fully. Then go back to CWM, Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik, then flash Beta 2, then flash intermediate update. Worked for me, no bootloop. It WILL take a moment or two to fully power on, though, as it has to rebuild the dalvik cache.

Okay, did you let the phone boot up between flashing the beta and the update. or just flash one then the other right on top of it? I did get to the boot animation, but even after letting it sit for about five minutes to allow enough time to rebuild the Dalvik, it was still just sitting there on that boot animation...

Hey, Prinny, just wanted to say I tried your procedure and I finally got Shinjitsu working on my Warp! I have to say, I love the speed and smoothness or the ROM, but the only bad thing is it obliterated my battery! lol I guess all that speed and power doesn't come for free, though, eh?

I also have a question for you, Shinru. Is there any way you can make available your OC kernel as a standalone .zip for installation on the factory ROM? Or is there a way I can take it out of your ROM and install it in another? Just curious if this kind of thing can be done.

Hey shin.. 2 I really want a clock in the notifications bar. And I also would like the batter indicator that had the arrow and numeric percentage. Rom toolbox doesn't have a clock option but I tried changing the battery with it. It said installed and when I rebooted it still wasn't there. How can I put the clock there and change the battery??? Thanks in advance. Looking forward to the final product. I went back to the OC. Kernal. I think it's working better now. I'm no longer having wifi issues or any of the other small problems I had b4. Weird!!!

Well, if you want, there's a non-OC kernel you could flash on Shin's ROM. You can TRY his OC kernel on a stock ROM...

Link to OC kernel there.

downthemachine's non-OC kernel.

Just make sure you back up your data, before flashing anything.

I tried flashing his kernel over top of my modded ROM, and something in the .zip told Android to use the factory launcher upon boot... which I had already deleted. I reloaded the stock B08 image (the one with root and CWM already installed, available here on the forum) then flashed Shin's OC kernel over this, which worked perfectly. After a Titanium reinstall of all my apps, I'm back to essentially the same setup I had before, but with almost twice the speed. :D

Thanks for your help, Prinny!

Ok so I spent the past 5 hrs trying to use the uot kitchen for the battery. I selected the battery then went to uploads. Set it to edify scripting and emmc. Picked the right screen size. I selected shin rom because they have it on file. B4 flashing cleared cache and delvik. And each time I get an error saying amend scripting no longer works switch to edify scripting?? Thing is I did it over and over and I know I selected the right things. Edify and emmc. Anyone had this issue or know water to do

It looks like the beta 2 was removed by Shinru. The two files (Shinjitsu_Rom_1.5.1c and Shinjitsu_Rom_Intermediate_Update-1) you need to do a complete install are still available, however. To paraphrase the advice Prinny gave me, make a full backup first then flash Shinjitsu_Rom_1.5.1c followed by Shinjitsu_Rom_Intermediate_Update-1. You don't need to reboot between flashing the two files, just do one then the other straightway after. Reboot when both are flashed, and you'll be all good. Oh, and since Shinjitsu is a B08 based ROM, you may need to install the stock B08 image first if you're already on B08C.
