Help Memory decreasing every few minutes?

Okay so recently I keep getting the error on my phone that memory is low and as a result it also says text message memory is full (even if I have barely any texts) This is annoying because then it starts bouncing my texts and saying "Not received because of insufficient memory"

Even though I have 30Mb on my phone which is a lot....

My main problem is that I keep deleting apps and clearing caches and deleting data and STILL my phone keeps going down to the threshold and running low on memory. I have hardly any apps on my phone now :/

Also as a side note: I noticed when I check the amount of memory left every 30 minutes it keeps decreasing even when im not using my phone or doing anything with it... something just keeps eating up the memory. Please help?

I'm on rooted stock and I downloaded Yaffs Explorer and Superuser. Now when the .alog files get big, I go into the /data folder and delete them. It takes about two minutes and I ddo it once a week.

Why go through all the aggravation? There are other "stock" roms that have everything working including gps that don't generate the log files to begin with. Especially seeing as you're already rooted.

I dont know i dont really wanna mess with my phone or jack it up. Especially since I need to use it frequently. So i dont wanna swap out the rom.

Unfortunately this problem is happening again.... I just deleted a bunch of crap off my phone and got my internal memory to about 70mb free. Today, 2 days later its back down to the threshold of 30mbs and telling me im low on memory again.................. havent downloaded any new apps, gotten any texts, or done anything. All my caches are clear. Its getting irritating cause it always seems to happen right when I get a text, and then it decided to bounce the text. I think im gonna factory reset.

Also google play keeps auto downloading their crap onto my phone without my permission even after i uninstalled them. Like "Google Play services" Which from what ive noticed is basically useless.

Yes, delete them.
They will be written again and will begin to grow, eventually reaching the same size.

To stop this from occurring again, after you delete them:
Wait long enough for them to be re-created, but not so long that they get large.
While they are still small, using ES File Explorer or similar app:

(ES File explorer instructions)
Long press on each file, and scroll down to Properties.
Then click the Change button next to "Permissions", and remove the "W".

This removes Write access and the system can no longer write to the files.

Problem solved without installing a custom ROM.

Root access required, and you also must enable root access and write privileges in ES File Explorer in its settings.
