I finally made the switch to the Note 2 yesterday. Love this thing.
However...
It basically does not hold a charge and it gets so hot it's uncomfortable to even hold it.
As for battery charge: I put it on the charger last night. Took it off this morning with 100% charge. Used it *very* sparingly and by 1:30 this afternoon it was down close to 50%. I charged it again, got it back up to around 88% before I needed to leave with the phone.
I then used it very sparingly again and now, just 6 hours later the phone is down to 5% battery left.
This can't be typical, can it?
Also, the charging process seems to take a very long time.
While all of this is going on, the phone gets really, really hot.
I took the battery out to check it and the battery itself is not warm at all. It seems the processor itself is causing the heat. I would expect some, but this seems unacceptable.
Far hotter than any phone I have ever used.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Is it possible I've just got a bum unit that I should attempt to get replaced?
Any insight would be fantastic.
Thanks!
