Anyone switching back to IOS?

If the OP feels like he does not need the features Android has to offer and prefers the iOS, is there really any reason for him not to change back?

Not all people like Coke, and prefer Pepsi (and vice versa).

I dont really get all this War of the Brands. Something thats right for the other, doesnt necessarily fit the other. Why get all bitchy about it..?

In my opinion, you should just try thinking of the cons and pros in both devices, to see which suits your use best and go with that. :)

No matter what the device we are always happy to help people with issues with their devices, regardless that this is an android forum. If someone comes with issues with their iPhone I still will try and help them to the best of my ability.

The motto around here is trying to help everyone, regardless of device. So let's not get negative about certain opinions you may have about iPhones :)

I gave my honest opinion. Maybe not worded well. When I said Iphones were smart phones for dummies how I meant it was like the books ie windows for dummies. Iphones are great devices for people to learn on or that do not customize their phones. I did not mean because you use an iphone you are a dummy.

As I stated

Overall I like them both. They both have positives and negatives. In the end it is up to the user to decide what they like better. Right now for me it is Android. Down the road who knows Apple might pull its head out of their butt and make another great phone.

What features are you talking about exactly? I hate everything about IOS and Iphone other than their bigger selection of game apps, and how most game apps come out on IOS first. It like how some people choose a Nexus phone over an android phone because they get update much faster.

Some of the stuff I have read on here is absolutely awful.......

Its a dagon phone for Pete's sake!!!!

I get that some folks on here can get a little carried away with there love for android but not everyone thinks the same.
Thank God for Apple and Windows phone because without competition Android wouldn't be Android.

I have owned an IPhone and it did what I needed it to do and is very durable. I like Android and I will stay with Android for a while but who knows, maybe I will switch back some day.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I tought there was other reasons besides the games that had you thinking about switching.
I'm not very familiar with the iPhones, because I have never had a one. So I dont really know much about what features it has.
I was just saying that some people like the iPhone and that people should not wage a war, just because they like different things.

I have my old Nokia dumb-phone still in use, should I just throw it away because it doesnt have much features?

Apart from from two ipod touches both 16Gig fourth generation (my son's and daughter's) and getting itunes to work properly on the family Vista PC I have no experience of Apple products.

I find the ipod, frustrating. I feel I would find an iphone equally frustrating. For instance I love Swype, I shift things around using both the built in file manager and Root explorer (although I'm not yet rooted) and most of all I regularly use USB on the go to stick site photos on to a USB stick and insert them into a .PDF report on the fly. I can then give my boss the stick and I'm done, or even email him (or the client) with it direct from site if it is urgent. I'm not saying the .pdf creation and the emailing bit is not possible on an iPhone (I'd be surprised if it wasn't), but using a USB stick (which invalubale) ?

I just think from my limited knowledge of iOS I'd feel "restricted", if indeed that is not too stronger word.

Many yrs wasted with iPhone...
Made the switch and you couldn't pay me to switch back..
Makes no difference if they increase the screen size and add more storage space.. I made the switch mainly due to being tied to Itunes and the lack of customization features offered by Apple.....
Android + Nova Prime = Bliss...

So I would never get an iPhone. Me personally I don't want to hook my phone up to back it up or manually back it up in the settings. I love how I take a pic and it automatically uploads, everything I need saved it syncs to my gmail I don't need to do anything. Iphones to me the screens are to small and they have been having a lot of issues since the iOS 7 update. Apple never wants to take ownership and blames the carrier. Like after you switch from iPhone to another device ppl dont get messages from iPhone users if there I messages is still on, you contact apple n they have no idea what's going on. Icloud registration failure is a joke and you can't reset your phone. Activation lock thru I cloud doesn't work and its a pain if you need to reset the device. ITunes crashes. I love my android. I like how I have options If I don't like it I can change it. The apps are great and I love the developers. I have to email one they are so quick with a fix or response. My 32 GB is half the price of an iPhone. I love the fact when I have a sw update I can still use my phone after. Most iOS updates there's an issue with making n recieving calls after. On iOS 7 apple sent millions of updates out at once and crashed the servers. Android staggers to avoid that.

I'm a straight Apple user since 1983. I still am - for all my actual computers. (I have no clue what a "right-click" is or what it does.) I never once entertained getting an iPhone for all sorts of reasons though I did consider at one point one of their 7" tablets but it just wouldn't do the business on software just as any iPhone wouldn't. I instance DSLR controller as a major example for me.

The Note 3 persuaded me finally I had a use for a smartphone albeit a very capable one. The screen size is important. It means I don't carry a laptop for short field trips any more.

I have so far not been disappointed - except for Apple's annoying refusal to integrate access to the phone in System X but then they did that for ten years with PeeCees and PeeCee media so no surprise there.

Oh and I mostly use the S-pen. I use fingers only occasionally.

My next computer will be Apple just like all its predecessors. My next phone will not be an iPhone.

I'm getting more and more intrigued by the iPhone 6 rumours flying about and if Apple release a larger screen device then I will consider it. I love my iPhone 5 because it has not missed a beat yet. I love my Galaxy Note 3 because of all the functionality it has. They both have many good points and many bad points but so far none of the bad points outweigh the good points on either device for me. I will, as always, keep my options open and go with whichever phone suits my needs at the time, being that I am not a rabid hater or fanboy of either OS.

The only operating systems I dislike is Windows Mobile 8 after playing with it for a month, and Blackberry, after being forced by my job at the time to carry one for years.
