Post Your Last Purchase

I've already posted this in this thread, but here's my last purchase--the one on the left:

As you can see, the regular one is gigantic, both in terms of its carafe capacity and its height, and I needed something *I* could manage when no one else is around to make coffee. Papa Bear and Baby Bear, as I now call them! :D

I bought a couple of gable louvered vents, silicone, and some stainless screws. I installed them on my shed that gets way hot without any air moving through it. They have to help. I installed them on the North and South walls which see the most wind.
Now you just have to install solar roof vents, R-96 insulation and central air conditioning and you'll be all set. ;)

So Woot.com is celebrating their 15th year anniversary and one of the deals they have is for a 3D printer for $160.00. How could I not?

If you have a limited budget then check some cheap 8x10 photo printers before buying, most of your time will be spent trying to make the printer operate properly and fight the bad, low end filament, you will also buy it. Go for it if this is your notion of a hobby. However, $200 won't be eliminated if you wish to print things for other hobbies.

No, not really. That was two years ago, BTW and the printer is still humming away. Granted I did upgrade a few parts and replace others as they wore (nozzles, mostly) but I have never had a problem with print quality or reliability.

The Beatles - Abbey Road, official China release.

BTW I only bought it because I was intrigued by what was on the rear. "ABBEY ROAD MINI-DOCUMENT. INSERT INTO COMPUTER TO VIEW" and it didn't cost a lot. So apparently it's an Enhanced-CD(which combines CD-audio with CD-ROM), and I've never seen an official Beatles release as an Enhanced-CD before. I know @MoodyBlues is really into The Beatles, like me. :)

Keep honest people honest. ;)
That's the attempt. I've had the place a decade or so and haven't lost a thing. I have everything locked up though. It's so out there that someone with the intent to steal would have days to do the dirty deed. It makes me feel a little better to have the stuff locked up. At least I didn't just give it away :)

I've been fascinated by Lizzie Borden since I first learned about her many....MANY....years ago. I re-watched a "48 Hours" episode about her the other day, and decided to look for the book one of the participants wrote. I bought it! It came yesterday. Oh, note the pink square on the laptop--that's highlighting one of Joy Noelle's white hairs!!! :D

Just in case any of you young whippersnappers don't already know this, a *BOOK* is this physical thing that you hold in your hands, and thumb through its pages, and bounce from page 111 to 8 to 200 just like that! It has a Table of Contents and an Index and various other things on actual PAPER. When you're not reading it, it joins your other beloved books on a bookshelf, so guests can peruse your collection, and find something of interest to read when they're spending the night.

I recently purchased a charcoal filter for air purification that uses granular Australian activated carbon. This is the best filter available here at an affordable and not expensive price, which concentrates all the conditions and possibilities of high-quality domestic ventilation for the indoor garden. And for us on the farm , it was vital as the plants were no longer getting enough oxygen and were simply dying.
