Does anyone know how the Evo's antenna will compare with the Hero? I just moved to sprint to get the Evo, but had to switch early. My wife and I were given Heroes to hold us over for two weeks until the Evo launch. I'm noticing that i'm having reception issues in areas where my iphone, and Incredible got decent to great coverage. Is this an issue with the Hero alone or a sign of Sprints smaller footprint then AT&T and Verizon?

I had great reception with my hero.
My sis has ATT with ipone and has crappy service at my house where I have great service.
Every company does not have great service everywhere.
When you say reception issues is that just not enough bars or is it bad sound?
I find it funny how people freak out with they only have 2 bars but there phone is working fine. For me either it works or it does not, if it does not work I wait for it to work.

Well I too have a Hero for two weeks waiting for the Evo. I was a Helio customer before. Helio used Sprint's network. My Ocean sucked but never dropped a call. My Hero drops 5 calls a day. Have to go outside to ensure it doesn't happen. So hoping that is a Hero issue.

But my wife is here before the Evo so really no one to call anymore LOL.

What I mean by reception issues is
1. As opposed to being on the 3g network, I'm on roaming 1x network inside my office, but as soon as I step outside the doors, I go back to a weak 3g signal (-90 dbm or so).
2. Incoming calls seem to be going straight to voicemail half the time, even though i can make outgoing calls without a problem.

When i do make calls, the clarity on the Hero is very good, much better than the 2 Incredibles I went through (not blaming the Verizon network, but the phone definitely had an issue). I can only hope the Evo is just as clear if not even better.
