Radio shack 90 day return instead of 30 day?

Bought my Evo on launch day from the radio shack a few blocks from my house. Have glass seperation, a pressure crack on my camera lens, and audio from the headphone jack has the crackling every so often.

I called up my radio shack twice now asking about whether or not the evo was in stock. I was in fact the only evo sold in that store. No one pre-ordered from there. I can't really take advantage of the 30 day exchange policy if they don't have one to exchange with.

Sprint won't handle it until the 30 days are up and they have a habit of replacing phones with refurbed units; which I have had less than great success with.

Radio shack then told me I'd be covered by their 90 day warranty.

Have any of you been told the same thing.

I just spoke to a asst. manager at a Radio Shack and was told that if they don't have a replacement before the 30 days are up they will definitely honor the exchange when they get one in.

Talk to the store's manager. Have him do a "wireless feedback", i think thats what he called it. basically, they go into the system, type in the numbers on your receipt, then they request a replacement. Basically, this goes straight to their corporate offices, and you will get one soon. My store tried three different ways to get me one, and they never shipped them one. But when he tried this, i got my replacement two days later.

I'm in the same boat. Funny thing is the manager has had several evos thats she's been getting shipped in but hiding from the employees. So no luck for me on getting a replacement so I called sprint customer service explained my issues. Now there suppost to be shipping one to there corperate store for the exchange. They told me 2 days this was monday so I'm hoping tommarrow I will be getting a new evo without the issues my current one has.
