Accessories Samsung Vibrant Cases

I was looking at a similar one too that.

1 Silicone Gel Case TPU Skin Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S - eBay (item 270610544957 end time Aug-19-10 12:45:42 PDT)

Seems like it's pretty much the same thing.

Anyone have any experience with these?

I ordered this one so I will let you know when I get it.

Why would you protect the back on this phone? It's just a plastic cover. The cost of InvisibleShield for the back probably costs as much as a replacement cover while offering no increased protection of the internals. I could understand a metal or irreplaceable backing, but not the plastic cover on the Vibrant.

The same reason you protect the front? So it doesn't get scratched up.

im waiting for this company to come out with cases for galaxy s Samsung Cases // OtterBox.com

I wrote to Otterbox to ask about this (mind you, my BB's were never without one). Their answer was useless. They merely replied, in essence, "Watch our website." Greatthankssomuch. Seidio was a bit more responsive, saying they expect to have something out within a few weeks.

I'll put in my vote for the T-Mobile one if you need a case ASAP and your stores carry it. The one I visited had several in stock.

I probably wouldn't have bought it if there were other offerings available, but not because it feels cheap or anything. It's actually quite snug and has some "cushion" to it. I dropped the phone while I was trying to pocket it and the darn thing bounced and rolled. Landed face up, no issues (as you would expect with a decent case). It took it like a champ.

the plastic cover is slippery and a fingerprint magnet. I think a lot of us if we can get a metal replacement cover for the back cover we woudlnt bother putting something over it.

Im more interested in having a better grip on it than protecting it. The back cover imo is too slippery. I wouldnt get a invisibleshield for the back though.

I have the gel case from Tmobile. The peace of mind that comes from having some cushioning around the phone is hard to put a price on. The textured feel of this case will make the device easier to hang onto. They will be available cheaper eventually but I didn't want to wait a month or two with no protection.

As for screen protectors I believe they are both unnecessary with the Vibrant's glass screen and they definitely detract from the image quality so much they aren't worth the trouble or cost. Especially in light of this: YouTube - ???S ??? ????? GalaxyS Drop Test

After seeing that video I immediately removed my screen protector and enjoy the device much more now.

they have cases on ebay (as stated above) they are in Asia and will take about 14 days to arrive so I purchased one from someone out in Cali and it took 3 days for me to get it
and I paid 5.00 for it :)

But they arent those cases. I dont want a sillicon case. I have seen the cases on ebay and they are getting more already but none i like so far. Figures the one i do like is in Korea. And ive bought stuff from Hong Kong before. I just want to get my phone in a case sooner than that. Ive had it two weeks already.
