I wouldn't give up until after around 7:30. Sometimes UPS delivers pretty late. I would just be a PITA and call the manager and ask if they received their UPS delivery. Just to rub it in, here is a photo I took with the 4gLTE. For some reason it's only uploading 2mb files...still playing with this thing.

Two seconds after I posted that I got that call that my phone was in.. He said I couldn't activate it until tomorrow but when I mentioned how people were already activating he said we should. Have no problem! Leaving work alittle early so I can go get it! They don't have the defender in yet but luckily I shopped around a few places and got a gel case and zagg shield already :D

Remember to turn off your old phone while activating your new one! :)

Went to my local Sprint store today to see what they knew about the national launch of the phone. According to a rep who I know to be knowledgeable, he said that there has been no official word from Sprint corporate on the actual launch date, but there are persisting rumors that June 1 (a week from today) will be the launch.

He also told me that this store already got some shipments, but they are not allowed to put them on display or sell them until the official launch day. Also, accessories are in, but they can only be sold to the people who bring in the phones they got from pre-ordering.

The reason the launch day hasn't been announces is because Sprint corporate wants to make sure sufficient stock arrives nationwide to all resellers. Last thing they want is a repeat of the original Evo shortages.

As usual, this is just a local Sprint rep's opinions. Grain of salt, etc. But I don't think we have much longer to wait before the national launch.

Funny.. my son works at the Connection Center at Walmart in Woodstock, GA and they received phones to sell (not just pre-order). Yet, many Sprint stores and BB's don't have them yet.

It makes absolute no sense what so ever! I ordered from Sprint corporate store and they have no word!? If I didn't have a Sero plan I would've left and got one from BB across the street who have stock LTEvo's!

I don't understand it still neither. When I called my Sprint store asking about screen protectors she didn't hear me say for the new EVO and asked for which EVO and I said the new one and she was shocked I had it and asked where I got it. Now I am glad I got it from BB plus it only cost me a 100 bucks. But with the warehouse being in Kentucky and Sprint stores not having them that is not good. My BB said they had like 15 preorders. I was the 1st one to preorder. I am glad people are getting there phones and like reading everyones excitement. It's well worth waiting for if you haven't gotten it yet. I love it so much. I'm going to go to bed and probably stay up for an hour messing with it. I still have lots to do.
