Throttled means you've gone over your data cap on the nonunlimited plans so they slow your speeds down to .17mbps or 170kbps <~ I think it's something like that. But not much you can do till next month when your in the new billing cycle.

change ro.ril.hsxpa=2

change ro.ril.gprsclass=12

or just change the bottom one to 12 and see if your speeds change...use build.prop editor from the play store if your not good with root explorer..

your speeds will general increase but so will battery usage...but only slightly

you need to reboot after the changes

They do connect you to different towers and give you the fastest speed possible but most of time this is already done automatically. Usually it just depends on your location

It went up. But not enough to really matter.

i actually have been trying

change ro.ril.hsxpa=3

change ro.ril.gprsclass=12

and my browser is pretty damn fast now lol, maybe try that as well

I'm on p.r.l 2032 if I'm not mistaken that's a old p.r.l .we need to be on a higher p.r.l I think for that governor of theirs to go away.... What you guys think?

Hay drifter what app you using to change that?, is that build prop work you can do with certain apps off the android market?

lol im just fartin around trying different things i seen around the forums.. so far everythings working great except i think the scrolling mod cracked my screen :/ LOL scrolled it so fast i dropped the damn thing now i got a big as crack top to bottom

FML lol anyone know any good screen repair services?? (this is NOT sarcasm.. it's a true story LOL)

no app, just manually editing my build.prop on pc then pushing to system, then do cache & dalvik wipe

im too old fashioned i guess.. dont know all the facy tricks and apps you young kids use LOL my first android was a G1
