Damn I just caught this. Yes it is backwards from me too. Another big issue to note.

It is quick and it is real stripped down if you use the barebones build.

I heard it was a security update not a full upgrade.

im running stock on my phone and got notification that an android system update was available ... after the update only thing i seen change was the baseband and build number

Is it safe to assume this upgrade doesn't do the 710T any good since it needs the nf4 modem?

I'm running Conquest and can't stand the fact I cant dial ##3282# to make any modifications. I can in stock TW, but not Conquest. I want to get away from the TW framework, but I don't think any of those dial codes work with AOSP dialer? Was going to give Wicked a try to confirm that.

I appreciate the quick reply! My apologies. I didn't know "my phone" referred to the SPH-L710T. Nor which variant (Sprint, VM, or Boost). Half of this thread is people not understanding the difference between the 710 and 710T.

My question should have been completely different. I should have asked: Does anyone here know why - even with Conquest running TW on my Boost 710T - I can't dial ##3282# to get into the data programming menu? As I said before, it works just fine running stock rooted, but no go on anything else. Or.. was that last question completely obtuse since anything other than stock most likely wouldn't have carrier set proxies set? Does anyone know of an apk that would get me into these menus? I would like to see what other settings you can modify since I can easily obtain my MSL.

The reason the dialer codes don't work is because you're using the AOSP dialer.

Unless you mean you're using the TW dialer in which case I have no idea because it should since conquest is stock-based.

You need to be stock to use dialer codes, including the stock dialer.

Sorry for the misunderstanding and the rude reply after reading it back to myself i did not mean it to sound that way..... i had just assumed because we are under the (SPH-L710T) that everyone would know what i was talking about since im the one that pulled the stock.tar and shared it.. and have a few posts here regarding this model... i just posted the update.zip with hopes of mybe a dev telling me what it is..

What you have to do is as long as you made a stock rooted backup when you first started, is restore your backup make your changes and then restore your backup of conquest and go on the Saved changes will stick.

The Conquest: Singularity ROM gives you the option to install all of the stock TW apps, including the dialer. You could maybe pull it from that. It's the ROM I use, thought I hate the TW apps and use the AOSP versions. I haven't looked into other ROMs for a little while now. Is there other versions of Conquest or something now? .-.

No the developer (moonknightus) moved on to another phone. So no new conquest.

Can anyone upload a stock rooted Sprint Rom for this model? I am using the boost one but was wondering if it can be pulled from kies so it says Sprint on the banner instead of Boost, My phone is Nf4 710T,Thx
