So here's this thread for ROM, Kernel, Recovery links and intructions for the US varient of the f60 (e2nam)
======================================================================================

Change-log:
Code:
12/3/2015: Revised a few things, nothing special

Disclaimers: This kind of stuff tends to void warranties...So basically you are the source of the problem for whatever happens: boot-loop, bricked, etc. You are responsible for paying attention to what your doing and the consequences, I'm not doing any type of social engineering here to convince you that this is a good idea...

Note: An OTA update has been released for our device (firmware 10g). If you are rooted and have TWRP installed DO NOT UPDATE, you will be soft-bricking your phone which will result in you trying to unbrick via flashing the KDZ files (if it works...). There's also postings of the update having possibly a radio update which is not compatible with CyanogenMod 12 for LG F60.

Wasn't planning on actually providing a link but if you insist .
If it's there in text, it's best to have links ;)
It keeps people from googling and installing something from a completely different phone, you know what I mean?

I'll be trying to find a way to unbrick using the Send_Command over download mode since there is no KDZ yet.

@Incakola is there a way to boot into recovery from powered off? I haven't been able to find a way. Probably not I'm guessing.

If twrp is installed, the hard reset method will be able to access it. Hold volDown+power, as half a second passes when the lg logo pops up release both buttons and immediately hold the power button afterwards.

Not sure if below will help but anyway this is how I've gotten out when my F60 was boot looping and I wasn't able to access TWRP recovery. The only screen I was able to access was Download mode so I played with Send_Command a lot.

1. Assuming you downloaded and unzip LG_Root.zip.
(This folder contains useful stuff like Send_Command, fastboot, adb etc..)

2. Open DOS command screen from this LG_Root folder.

3. Completely power off F60, hold volume up and plug USB in, Download mode appears

4. Send_Command.exe \\.\COM4
(replace 4 with correct F60's assigned port number)

5. #adb shell
(if adb not started somehow)

6. #dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/laf
(trying to run fastboot)

7. Phone reboots, fastboot runs

8. fastboot boot recovery.img
(trying to boot recovery via fastboot, recovery.img is the TWRP recovery image)

edited :)
I had an incident that I had to start ADB manually. So I added the line there just in case.
I am working on modified stock ROM (Kit Kat) at this moment.
Let's see if I can bring at least working ROM..
No, like what I am saying is that it doesn't use adb at all, once you start using Send_Command you are in a terminal with su privileges.

Found a solution to bypass tethering on our device, thanks to Krlypumaa's F6 wifi tethering guide. I'll list it as follows:
  • Create a new APN with the exact same values of the metro-apn. The only thing you'll be adding to the copy is under "APN TYPE," add the value "dun" seperated with a comma with all the others
  • Have an app like SQLiteEditor to change the "tether_dun_required" to the value "0" later on after a reboot (settings.db/global is where the value is)
  • Use a root explorer to go to /system/bin/ folder and change the permissions of "hostapd" and "hd" to rwxrwxrwx (it helps to have an init.d script to automatically set it's permission every boot)
  • Reboot
  • Use SQLiteEditer to change the value of dun_required before turning on wifi tether with an app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kr.core.technology.wifi.hotspot)
  • Have an init.d script to automatically set the permissions

Some other paid wifi tether apps work that don't require this process. So test it out first so you won't get gipped out your money when the refund period has passed.

If someone has a better solution that doesn't require reboots over time by all means post if its better
There's an app called PdaNet/Foxfi that allows you to USB tether to a computer running Windows. There's an option during installation called Hide Tether Usage which allows you to use your phone's 4G LTE as an internet connection, and it works well. You can try it out and tell me what you think :)

Ah okay. I'll try the wireless tether. Can't try the usb tether though, running linux and have a chromebook that's also used to connect to the hotspot.

Edit: The usage limit is a let down, not good for downloads. Seven bucks isn't worth it when there are cheaper ways of achieving this.

total noob move but i bootlooped my phone not even sure how one day i recieved an ota update think that messed me up but no twrp installed and when i hook up to labtop says device working fine but its not any help much appreciated
At this point, you could recover whatever is left on your device by installing twrp and do adb pulls but other then that your still going to have to flash stock firmware to get back a working phone with the KDZ file and guide provided in this thread. It wasn't successful for me but it seemed to worked for others who posted their success about the flash tool working. Make sure you have the driver installed and a com connection is established when the device is connect and in download mode.

So you're saying your phone does show up in device manager as a com port then disconnects at a certain point? Sounds like you have a bad cable or a damaged charging port.

it charges fine checked my other phone works good and the phone itself charges but when i put itbto download mode shows its fine turn it on bootloops but the couple seconds before it loops i get an unkiunknown device connected then dissapears which i know its my phone but it dissapears before i can try anything lol
So if you can boot into download mode and your pc detects it, what is the problem then? Download mode is where you could send COM commands to install TWRP with the LG root tools provided in this thread.
