It is the G Stylo for sprint. I have downloaded the kernel for it and started looking over it. But it will need some work to get it buildable for custome ROMsWhich Sprint phone is it that has marshmallow? The Stylo or the Tribute 2/duo?
To be honest that is probably something on the playstore cause I have noticed on multiple devices that at random the play store is slow to download from. What would make my internet run so slow? Downloading from playstore @ 15KB/s
APN it only let me select fast.metropcslte.ipv6 or whatever. On other ROMs I usually use just the regular fast.metropsc.com or whatever it is. Is that right? Trying to download speed test now. Only thing I did was change account from 60$ to 30$ to pay it cause I know I can get it prorated in couple days. Its still a lte plan. Also thanks babyg for donating him a phone. It helps us all.To be honest that is probably something on the playstore cause I have noticed on multiple devices that at random the play store is slow to download from.
speedtest reboots might be caused by GPS bugs, as speedtest likes to know where you are. As for the other stuff, I don't know because I have not messed with the kernel (yet).Trying to use speed test and it just reboots. I put the battery on powersave and try to adjust the kernal, but it don't stick.
Set to batterysaver, make changes to CPU parameters. Turn off, turn on battery saver. Plug in charge cord and then make changes again to what they were set as before. 900mhz high for me with 200 low.Trying to use speed test and it just reboots. What is the build.prop tweak for IPV6? I ask cause I am not aware of needing any. As far as I am aware it is just a change on the carrier's side and your device has to have the libs to support itIf anyone on T-Mobile is using this ROM, make sure to change the APN settings.
You always wanna use ipv4 instead of 6 unless you've made the proper changes in build.prop to enable ipv6 use.
It never hurts to set the T-Mobile ipv6 settings to ipv4/ipv6. It makes things a lot easier.
Hmm...I set to ipv6 and sis not make any other changes....just did a speed test and got 27mbps downIf anyone on T-Mobile is using this ROM, make sure to change the APN settings.

persist.telephony.support.ipv6=1What is the build.prop tweak for IPV6? I ask cause I am not aware of needing any. As far as I am aware it is just a change on the carrier's side and your device has to have the libs to support it
I have to disagree as I just checked the build.prop of my LG G Stylo and Leon. Neither one of them have that line in the build.prop and both of them are running stock ROMs and both are using the ipv6 apns.persist.telephony.support.ipv6=1
Without that line, my data refuses to connect on ipv6. That's why I recommended using ipv4/ipv6 instead.
I'm using the cm12.1 and the xenonhd ROMs, both have trouble with ipv6 unless I add the prop line.I have to disagree as I just checked the build.prop of my LG G Stylo and Leon. CM wouldn't let me connect to speedtest or maps. This build though..t-mo phone on mpcs build seems to be working just fine with the GPS.So speed test didnt crash it?
GPS working fine for me on metroCM wouldn't let me connect to speedtest or maps. This build though..t-mo phone on mpcs build seems to be working just fine with the GPS.
Watch...now that I said that, my GPS is going to start crapping out on me!
Yes XenonHD supports layers vut not CM Theme Engine. Also don't know if people are scared to try but layers does work I love it
