A recent outbreak of malware came preinstalled on more than three dozen Android devices

38 different Android devices seem to have had some malware preinstalled on them by two different companies. The apps were not part of the software provided by the smartphone OEM, but instead were added somewhere along the supply chain.

Now you have to worry about malware from the people that put your phone together might as well not buy new ones.

If the logistics can't be trusted between the phone leaving the factory and getting to the user. Think that's why it's important to check the manufacturer carton seals are intact when buying new devices.
