Cormac McCarthy. I just don't understand the rambling grammatical mess he writes in. It's difficult to read.

I'm also reading Brasyl by Ian McDonald right now, he likes to ramble without punctuation at times as well, and the story hasn't become very interesting several chapters in. I don't understand why this book is held in such high esteem in the sci-fi community.
